Bet9ja

The Nigerian name that still means “the shop.” KC Gaming / Bet9ja is on both Lagos and FCT lists. Nigerian paper and Nigerian shops — not the South Africa or Kenya product.

africasportsbetting.com1 country pinReviewed 14 October 2026

Bet9ja is what a lot of Nigerians mean when they say they are going to “play.” The shops are part of the street. The operator, KC Gaming, appears on the FCT approved-operators table (listed running into 2029 on that page) and on the Lagos LSLGA table as KC Gaming Networks Limited. That combination is why Bet9ja is the first Nigerian example we ship, not because we are ranking a favourite. Other states still need their own check. There is no honest way to put Bet9ja on a South African or Kenyan comparison card.

Where we pin it

Country sites, not a continental stamp.

Legal note

The paper

Confirm KC Gaming / Bet9ja on FCT-LRO and on the state register that covers you. Lagos and Abuja listings are not a 36-state blanket.

Payments

The cashier

Naira: bank, USSD, wallets, and the shop. This is a cash-and-phone culture brand.

Sports focus

The slip

Premier League accumulators, Super Eagles, and the virtuals that keep a shop busy when the satellite feed drops.

Caveats

  • Shop staff are not the regulator. Ask for the licensed brand, not a handwritten notebook.
  • Clone apps and “Bet9ja agent” WhatsApp numbers are a recurring scam pattern.
  • We do not list Bet9ja outside Nigeria.
